12. Baguales means Beer

29th Nov 2013

First order of business today is coffee at The Coffee Maker where we meet a couple we had told about the coffee here when we had breakfasted with them at Camp Los Torres. It was a very still day so the waterfront provided some wonderful photographic opportunities, and we kept being drawn back to the waterfront to enjoy the view...on second thoughts maybe Andrew just wanted an excuse to get coffee. We bought a few souvenirs, most of the time was spent searching for a snow globe, Sam at Noosa Pet Resort where our Fox Terrier Nelly spends her holidays asked if we could buy her a snow globe as she collects them but doesn't have the time to travel overseas as she is always looking after our dog, no luck finding a snow globe in Natales but we still had a few stops to go so no need to panic just yet.

Oh fancy finding us at the Coffee Shop.

Immaculate shop frontage

I'm not sure what they mean by the 'Jump' there were just rock below this wall

Trip Advisor proved to be invaluable on this trip and a search for good food and beer in Puerto Natales saw us head to Baguales for an excellent hamburger and Andrew tells me even better beer, I do not like beer, at all, at any time, ever, despite the fact that Andrew keeps getting me to taste it saying " you'll like this ", no Andrew, no I will not. I enjoyed a Pisco Sour instead of the beer and watched a young couple try to eat 1kg of chips with cheese and bacon and drink a jug of Baguales very strong beer, they looked to be in some sort of food coma when we left, ah the optimism of youth.

Thank you trip advisor
